富家是一位農夫，在河灘地上種檸檬，98年時，他借了一台攝影機，說是要為檸檬價格長期低落來拍一部紀錄片。不到一個月，台灣便發生了50年來最大水災-八八風災。鏡頭裡河灘地滿目瘡痍，鏡頭外村民因河川局阻擾河灘地復耕，而爆發衝突。我們也決定著手記錄一個正在記錄的人，片子就叫《富家拍片》。

Fu-jia the farmer grows lemons on a riverside flood-land. He borrowed a camera in 2009, saying that he would make a documentary on why market price for lemons remains low. Not even a month later, Typhoon Morakot caused havoc in Taiwan, resulting in the largest flood in 50 years. Fu-jia then documented the much devastated farmland with his camera, while villagers and river management officers argued over flood-land farming off-camera. Upon learning Fu-jia’s story, we decided to make a documentary entitled “Fu-jia’s Home Movie” –about the man who has been making a documentary.
