2011 年佔領華爾街運動，點破美國社會貧富差距懸殊的嚴重性。本片以美國前勞工部長羅伯賴克的觀點，探討造成收入不平等的原因與其惡性循環的後果：當工資下降，許多人被迫負擔更多債務；大學學費高漲，也導致接受高等教育的機會變低。本片將貧窮化、工作移轉、高等教育、產業變化等關鍵詞進行了全面性的論述聯結。

Economic imbalances are now at near historically unprecedented levels. In fact, the two years of widest economic inequality of the last century were 1928 and 2007 – the two years just before the greatest economic crashes of modern times. With former labor secretary Robert REICH as our guide, Inequality for All explores the widening income gap that poses the severe threats to global economy and democracy.
