自2000年開始台北縣政府舉辦第一屆貢寮海洋音樂祭，每年七月，全國各地樂團紛紛前來朝聖。片中記錄五個追求夢想的樂團：有著表現亮眼女主唱張懸的Mango Runs；平均年齡只有十七歲卻遍尋不到鼓手的Hotpink；積極準備比賽而把工作辭掉，只為得到二十萬獎金的原住民樂團圖騰；以無厘頭方式和心態玩音樂的Stone；以及每次練團都要和警察周旋的Sunshine Boy。鏡頭捕捉這群年輕人追求搖滾夢的路上，其十足的勇氣及決心，以及面對現實考驗的掙扎與困惑……。
Ocean Fever follows several rock groups as they nervously compete for admission into the Indie Music Competition of the annual Ho-Hai-Yan Rock Festival, a rock and roll musical party on the northeast beaches of Taiwan. This film captures the hopes and dreams of the competition bands along with an affectionate look at contemporary youth culture in Taiwan.

靜默沙洲 Silent Shoal

鄰近台北市的三重與蘆洲，過去曾是不宜居住的沙洲，近二十多年來的迅速開發，零星古厝一一消失。本片透過六座古厝，看見並詮釋人與建築的關係。
以三重「吉慶居」、以及蘆洲「秀才厝」探討古蹟保存失敗的原因；而八十多歲阿嬤居住的蘆洲「西洋樓」，呈現出不同世代對古厝的看法。三重最完整的「崇德居」，卻面臨家族壓力與法令的不完善而進退兩難。被指定為古蹟的「蘆洲李宅」，更在私有古蹟的管理上提供了一個範本；而蘆洲的「八角樓」，卻因業主無力符合政府的古蹟修復申請制度，只好使建物任其凋零......。
Luzhou and Sanchong, two towns close to Taipei, used to be uninhabitable shoals. Over the past twenty years, rapid developments have caused heritage buildings to gradually disappear. Each heritage building bears witness to local developments. They appear silent but each one tells a story. By discovering and interpreting the stories of six heritage buildings, this film presents the special relationship that forms between people and their dwellings.

影片探討著拍攝者與被拍攝之間的關係。1997年雙十國慶，吳耀東在燦爛花火下的西門町，開始拍攝這部關於Tom和他之間「愛恨情仇」的「紀錄片」。在整整一年的拍攝相處中，一直存在他們之間的是拍攝者與被拍攝者的鬥爭、攝影機掌控權力的鬥爭、朋友相處間誠信的鬥爭，但存在於Tom身上的，那只是死掉和活下去對於生命本質的鬥爭……。
A 30-year-old man, self-destructive and anxious. A 26-year-old friend with a video camera. This is a very personal film about their relationship in the last years of a life - battling the HIV virus. The flamboyant man flirts with the camera, playing with being the subject and object of a film. The filmmaker is tormented, forcing himself to go on with the filming. The sincerity of both in the face of undefeatable facts is moving.

在台許多緬甸僑生，因各種因素及壓力被迫放棄學業，而過著非法居留的生活；他們多是來自於國共內戰時期，被遺留在泰緬邊境的孤軍後裔。而新北市中和的華新街，是全台緬甸華僑最多的地方，他們默默地追尋夢想，以及心中的歸屬……。
In Taiwan, there are a crowd of overseas Chinese students from Myanmar, who are forced to quit school and live on an illegal part-time job due to financial difficulties. And Huasin Street in Zhonghe in New Taipei City, is a place at which there are the most overseas Chinese people from Myanmar in Taiwan, where they realize their dreams and pursue a sense of belonging.

眷戀 Never Want to Leave

生於大陸河北的老李，來台灣已超過半世紀而且從沒再回去河北過。老李在台成家多年，但妻兒都不在身邊。老李感歎：「過去，人們是因戰亂而分離；現在，人們卻因忙碌而疏遠。老李找不著河北的親人，也見不著台北的家人。」百般寂寞的他，某日造了自己的墳，然後每日給自己掃墓。他想，是否守住一個地方等待，所思念的人就會回來呢？
LEE, who was born in Hebei, China, never went back to his hometown after living in Taiwan for over fifty years. Though staying in Taiwan for many years, his wife and children were not by his side all the time. “In the past,” he sighs, “people separated because of wars; nowadays, people are drifting apart for being busy.” LEE cannot find his family in Hebei, neither the one in Taipei. Being so lonely, he makes a tomb for himself and cleans it everyday. He wonders if the people he longs for will show up again when he stays and waits.

當我不存在就好 Just Ignore Me

他是我同學，2008年秋天，我們都為了拍畢業片而苦惱不已。
在找不到題材的情況下，我拿起攝影機拍他，隨他南奔北走，看他如何在工作跟學業的夾縫中求生存。後來，我們一起經歷了民進黨的圍城行動、野草莓學運、失憶的老人與跳啦啦隊的阿公阿嬤，還有流亡的中國人和西藏人……
畢業的期限日日進逼，他卻還必須面對另一個纏繞他多年的，更大的難題……
He was my classmate. In the fall of 2008, we were stressed out by the senior film project.
Without a topic in mind, I started filming him and his busy travels as he struggleswith both job and schoolwork. Eventually, we had been through DPP's Siege
Demonstration, the Wild Strawberry Student Protests, amnesiac elders, cheerleading grandparents and Chinese and Tibetan outcasts...
With graduation drawing near, he had to also face another problem that was bigger and persistent...
※導演的話
一個朋友問，這是一部關於紀錄片工作者的紀錄片嗎？
我說，好像是，又好像不是。
朋友又問，那是關於在台流離者的紀錄片囉？
我說，好像是，又好像不是。
他接著問，還是…你想討論的是紀錄者與被攝者的關係呢？
我說好像是，可是又好像……
另一個朋友聽得不耐煩了，插話說：
你這片，根本就是四不像嘛！
我想他說對了。
One of my friend asked me whether the theme of this documentary has something
to do with a documentary man?
I replied: maybe, and, maybe not.
Then he asked, then is it a documentary about the diaspora who is wonderlanding in
Taiwan?
I replied: maybe, and, maybe not.
He then asked...are you...trying to discuss the relationship between the
documentary film worker and his subject?
I replied: maybe, but, maybe...
Another friend lost his patient and said : This film seems neither fish nor fowla!
I think he is right.

青春啦啦隊Young At Heart: Grandma Cheerleaders

誰說人老了只能在家裡發呆、打瞌睡還有等死！這群來自高雄的阿公阿嬤，生活絕對比年輕人過得還要充實。為了在世運舞台上表演啦啦隊，炎熱的夏日裡，阿嬤換上迷你裙，阿公袒露小白肌，每日勤奮的練習好幾個小時！紀錄片導演楊力州在嚴苛的環境下拍攝《征服北極》之時，開始思索關於人老的議題，於是他將鏡頭轉向老人身上，拍攝出《被遺忘的時光》以及《青春啦啦隊》，探索自己問題的答案，也讓觀眾看見老人生活的不同樣貌。


Who says the elderly could only wait for their deaths? A group of them, averagely aged 70, are determined to break the stereotype. They not only formed a team of cheerleaders but fought for the opportunity to perform at the opening ceremony of the World Game in Kaohsiung in July 2009. Their 9-month preparation left not only them but their families the most memorable memories of their lives.

擺渡淡水河 Northern Taiwan: Ferrying Across - the Tamsui River‭

淡水河是台灣第三大河，它就像一條血脈穿越了台北盆地，這條河餵養了六百多萬人，因為這條河，城市誕生了，也因為城市的發展，這條河逐漸邁入死亡，淡水河沉默地在大台北地區交錯縱橫，它承載都市的惡，卻依舊閃閃發光。本片從淡水河三大支流的源頭開始記錄，從第一滴水落下，河流開始了漫長的旅行，一路上碰到許多與水相依的人，有了各式各樣的故事……。
While this waterway gave birth to Taipei, Taiwan’s largest city, the burdens of a growing population and industrial development nearly spelled its doom. With the city growing up along its banks, the Tamsui has survived dark decades of abuse and is only now regaining its health and being appreciated once again as the city’s picturesque, vital lifeline.

夢想美髮店 Dream Hair Salon

幸福是想像的，愛情是可能的，帶著簡單的行李及充沛的勇氣，搭上飛往台灣的飛機，一場未知的人生冒險才要開始。從熱鬧的都市到偏遠的鄉村，街頭巷尾處處都可見到這些嫁到台灣的「新移民女性」的身影。本片敘述三位新移民女性：來自越南的阮氏英書、印尼的林麗娜、中國的尹小，拍攝她們在台灣生活的處境、傾聽她們的心聲，如何在異國婚姻中蛻變成長。
Happiness is imaginary. Love is possible. A courageous woman carries simple luggage and hops on a plane for Taiwan. An unknown adventure is about to begin. This story, which is about three female immigrants from Vietnam, Indonesia and China, captures their living situations in Taiwan, allows their thoughts to be heard, and unfolds how they have grown out of their international marriages. Two of them have eventually become single mothers. We also get to see how they survived with strength and defended their rights to pursue their dreams in this film.
