2006年，火車第一次開進青藏高原，也把遊客和文明帶入遊牧地區。
這些繼承了老祖宗逐水草而居的牧民們，轉而從事旅遊服務，每天將牛馬趕到湖邊，出租給從拉薩北上的遊客們騎乘拍照。
影片透過記錄西藏納木錯地區一個遊牧家庭，試圖呈現遊牧民族如何在現代生活方式與傳統文化中找到平衡，並重新建構「家」的意義。
Today's Tibet, many herdsmen's life has been changed, especially with the train getting into it. The aboriginal ecological state and modern civilization blend here at an unprecedented speed. By comparing SBA'S family life with 3 years before, this film shows the states and changes in the life of Tibetan herdsmen during this two cultures interacting with each other.
