2009 年 8 月 8 日莫拉克風災打亂全國秩序,毀了小林人遮風避雨的家。到底是天災,還是人禍?眾人 直指曾文水庫越域引水工程,但未見兩黨互指不是、 互揭瘡疤。小林人大聲吶喊「小林人的生命不可白 白喪失!」但政客們極有默契對此選擇閉口。超級 明星災區變成有心人士的重建大餅,分歧的聲音使 得永久屋分隔三地。然而永久屋是在地上,還是在天堂呢?
On August 8, 2009, Typhoon Morakot created havoc across Taiwan. It also obliterated the village of Hsiaolin, killing many who were sheltering from the storm. Was this tragedy the result of a natural disaster? Or was human negligence involved? The transbasin construction on the Tsengwen Reservoir was regarded by many as the chief culprit. The two main political parties did not engage in their usual finger pointing and opening of old wounds. To the call that "the residents of Hsiaolin Village should not die in vain," politicians across party lines remained silent.
