1994年6月，25歲的楊力州從軍中退伍，在一所高職的廣告設計科內擔任教師，這是他人生的第一份工作。他與學生們一起成長，彼此承諾要一起畢業，但身為老師的他，卻先離職求學去了。如今，14年晃眼過去。楊力州成為知名的紀錄片工作者，而當年的學生，有的成了電影導演，有的則不知去向……。時間的力量在這群人的身上刻劃出無形的痕跡，透過重新觀看，人的際遇，生命的無常，是否能藉由紀錄片清楚地臨摹出樣貌呢？
In June 1994, after 25-year-old Yang Li-chou was released from the military, he began his first job as an advertising design teacher at a vocational school. He promised his students that he would grow with them but before they graduated, he left his job and became a student himself. This documentary is YANG’s first film as a director and its main theme is about his friendship and regrets with his students.
